Description
These acorns cling to the branches of the giant oak tree in my backyard in Southern Illinois. One shell emptied by a squirrel looking for a winter feast remains.

Everything about this is perfect. Love the bokeh that really helps the branch 'pop'. loving the warm earth tones too. Some of the best images I have seen have a less is more approach. Vary good eye spotting and framing this little beaut. Well done Wanda :)

Great lines and excellent composition, Wanda, and I like the repeating pattern of the frozen ice droplets! L/F
